Telegraph pole in Birmingham

This is the view if you turn 90 degrees away from ‘Sun After Rain’. It is the enormous blocks of flats in the distance that initially drew me to painting this site, but they have ended up as a ‘by the way’ feature now. I think this painting is mostly about how the pole that seems upright is leaning away from the wall. Photographer colleages believed I would paint this out. See also sketch book
