Birmingham Canals

Just off the back of Brindley place, the Indoor Arena, the International Convention Centre, and Symphony hall is this well maintained but less glossy view of the canals of Birmingham. Birmingham has more canals than Venice, remaining from its industrial routes. I wanted to capture how a brilliant sun brought the redbrick to life, and sharpened the reflections in the water.
