Sun After Rain

On a rainy saturday afternoon my mum and I took the car down from Quinton to Merry Hill, and stopped wherever the Brimingham hills made for dramatic scenery. The photograph of this image really only made for structural information for the picture, failing to capture the drama of the moving sky, which I could only elaborate from memory. I was also seeking to explore the loneliness of scenery. There was no one around even by accident in the pictures I took that afternoon. There were amazing things going on in the sky and no one to observe them. See also sketch book.
